In an attempt to accommodate diminishing attention spans and increasing distractions, the new social media website Bitter will allow users to post only the binary values of ‘1’ and ‘0’ but no other characters.

“Some people think you can’t say much with just ‘1’s and ‘0’s, but that’s not true,” said Alfonso ‘Kenny’ Wu, the company’s Founder and CEO. “With ‘1’s and ‘0’s, you can be odd or even. Additionally, with ‘1’ you have something, but with ‘0’ you have nothing at all.”

The company is planning an Initial Public Offering (IPO) in the first quarter of 2017, but analysts’ feelings on the potential valuation have been mixed. “I worry about Bitter competing with the Facebooks and Twitters of the world,” said Goldman Sachs analyst, Peter ‘Rex’ Paulson. “Then again, most people have little or nothing to say, and this will give them that chance.”
